# Myriad's allocation fund gained 17%, 1.6 percentage points ahead of global stocks

The Myriad Dynamic Asset Allocation ETF MDAA gained 17.0% from its first close on Friday, October 3, 2025, through Thursday, October 1, 2026, 1.6 percentage points ahead of global stocks and 8.4 percentage points ahead of a 60/40 fund.

By ETF.net Research. Published Oct 2, 2026.

In its first year, the Myriad Dynamic Asset Allocation ETF MDAA, a fund that can shift among stocks, bonds, currencies and gold, gained **17.0%**. It finished **1.6** percentage points ahead of global stocks and **8.4** percentage points ahead of a 60/40 fund.

The return runs from the first close on Friday, October 3, 2025, through the close on Thursday, October 1, 2026, and includes a cash distribution paid in December.

The fund charges 0.97% a year. The Vanguard Total World Stock ETF VT, a fund of stocks from around the world, returned 15.3% over those closes and charges 0.06%. The iShares Core 60/40 Balanced Allocation ETF AOR, a fund that holds a fixed mix of stock and bond funds, returned 8.6%. AOR is not the Bloomberg index the fund uses as its benchmark.

Chart: **MDAA** finished nearer world stocks than a 60/40 fund

The Vanguard Total World Bond ETF BNDW, a fund of bonds from around the world, returned -1.7% over those closes.

The fund aims to beat the Bloomberg World EQ:FI 60:40 Index, 60% global stocks and 40% global bonds, over the long term. It says the stock weight can run from none of the portfolio to all of it, and that bond exposure would come mainly through interest-rate futures and bond funds.

On Wednesday, December 31, 2025, common stocks were 63.4% of net assets and exchange-traded funds were 31.8%, together 95.2%. Those funds were two emerging-market stock funds, a gold trust, and three smaller US stock funds. A money-market fund and other assets made up the rest.

The same filing showed long positions in 3-month SOFR futures, contracts on a short-term interest rate. Two lines, expiring in March 2027 and March 2028, had a notional value, the face size of the contracts, of $1,815 million, about 4.8 times the fund's $378 million of assets. The open loss on the two lines was $1.5 million.

By Tuesday, March 31, 2026, a shareholder report put common stocks at 48.1% and exchange-traded funds at 45.8%. The largest positions were emerging-market stock funds IEMG at 20.9% and EMXC, which leaves Chinese stocks out, at 15.4%. IAUM, which holds gold, was 9.5%.

The shares closed that day at $99.95, just under the $100.03 first close. VT was little changed through March as well. The year's gain came after that.

As of Thursday, October 1, the largest positions were US megacaps and country stock funds.

Chart: Microsoft and Nvidia each held **6.2%** of the book

EMXC and IAUM were not among the 50 largest positions.

The fund's site leaves the comparison with the Bloomberg World EQ:FI 60:40 Index blank.
