# REX files for eight 2x daily ETFs on three-stock baskets

Fees and tickers are still blank, and Dec. 28, 2026, is the earliest the registration could go effective, not a listing date.

By ETF.net Research. Published Oct 16, 2026.

ETF Opportunities Trust filed on Oct. 14 to register eight proposed REX funds, each built to seek twice the daily move of an equal-weight basket of three stocks. None has a ticker, and none has commenced operations.

## The earliest date is Dec. 28

The filing elects to become effective 75 days after it was filed. Seventy-five days after Oct. 14 is **Dec. 28, 2026**, the earliest the registration could go effective. It is not a day the funds have said they will list, and a filing on this path can still be amended.

The adviser named in the filing is REX Advisers. The new series are branded REX, not T-REX. T-REX is the joint venture of REX Shares and Tuttle Capital Management that already offers single-stock 2x funds in the same trust. The filing does not change the fee, the ticker or the objective of a fund already trading.

The fee tables for all eight leave the management fee and total annual operating expenses blank.

## What the eight funds would do

Each fund would seek 200% of the daily performance of its basket, using instruments that include swaps. The basket is equal-weight, about a third in each company. At the point each day when exposure is set, leveraged exposure to the three names would add up to 200% of net assets, about two-thirds of net assets in each.

The target is one trading day. The filing says the funds do not seek that result over any longer period.

## What already trades beside two of them

The memory basket is Kioxia, Samsung Electronics and SK hynix. Roundhill Investments' Roundhill Memory ETF, DRAM, holds $19.11 billion. In holdings as of Oct. 16, Kioxia was 2.90% of the fund.

The proposed fund would equal-weight the three names. Kioxia would be about a third of the basket before leverage, the same share as Samsung, and about **11.5 times** the weight it has in DRAM.

Chart: **Kioxia** sits far below Samsung and SK hynix in DRAM

On June 24, T-REX announced a collaboration with Roundhill Investments to launch Roundhill Investments' Roundhill T-REX 2X Long DRAM Daily Target ETF, RAM. The fund began trading that day. It seeks 200% of the daily performance of DRAM, not of the three-stock basket, and holds $423 million. Roundhill's fund page lists a 1.50% gross expense ratio and a 1.25% net expense ratio.

REX Shares' page for RAM says Roundhill is not affiliated with REX Shares, the trust or the adviser, and is not involved in the offering.

Single-name 2x exposure to SK hynix is already listed. REX Shares' T-REX 2X Long SK Hynix Daily Target ETF, HYNX, seeks 200% of the daily move in the SK hynix American depositary receipt. It holds $26 million. Its prospectus dated July 8, 2026, lists total annual fund operating expenses of 1.50%, and 1.25% after a fee waiver until Sept. 30, 2027.

Direxion's Direxion Daily SK Hynix Bull 2X ETF, SKHL, launched on July 15 with the same daily target on that depositary receipt. It holds $34.6 million. Direxion's fund page lists a 0.99% gross expense ratio and a 0.97% net. This filing has not picked a number.

The equipment basket is Tokyo Electron, Advantest and Disco. REX Shares' REX AI Chipmaking ETF, CHIP, launched on Sept. 23 on Nasdaq with total annual fund operating expenses of 0.65%. It holds $1.7 million across 56 stocks. Advantest is the largest holding, at 5.7%, and Tokyo Electron and Disco are in the portfolio. The proposed fund would drop the other names, equal-weight those three, and seek twice the basket's daily move.

The other six series would use the same daily design.

The filing would add a 2x fund on three memory stocks next to the 2x fund on DRAM that T-REX collaborated with Roundhill to launch, and a 2x fund on three names CHIP already holds.
