# Two iShares funds switch to MSCI indexes

The $1.31 billion iShares MSCI USA ETF, MLRG, and the $274 million iShares MSCI USA Small-Cap ETF, MSML, switched to MSCI indexes on Monday, October 5.

Two iShares funds took new names, new tickers, and MSCI indexes on Monday, October 5.

No fund filed to close.

The iShares MSCI USA ETF, MLRG, a **$1.31 billion** fund of large- and mid-sized U.S. stocks, used to trade as ILCB. The iShares MSCI USA Small-Cap ETF, MSML, a $274 million fund of smaller U.S. stocks, used to trade as ISCB.

Both traded Monday under the new tickers.

The iShares Trust board approved the changes in an August 6 supplement and set them for on or around October 5. The funds left the Morningstar US Large-Mid Cap Market Index and the Morningstar US Small Cap Extended Market Index.

The MSCI USA Index covers about 85% of the freely traded U.S. market. The MSCI USA Small Cap Index covers about 14%.

iShares lists a 0.03% expense ratio for MLRG and 0.04% for MSML, each as of the current prospectus.

## The other filings

The registration for the NEOS Silver High Income ETF, SLVI, took effect on Thursday, October 1. The fund seeks high monthly income, with a chance of a gain, from exchange-traded products that have direct exposure to silver. It is not trading.

A Tidal Trust V amendment became effective on Friday, October 2, covering eight Defiance funds that target twice one stock's daily move. The trust also filed a second Defiance amendment.

Tema ETF Trust filed an update to its registration, and Valued Advisers Trust filed a summary prospectus, dated October 1, for the LS Opportunity Fund, a mutual fund.
