# WisdomTree's quantum fund turns one up 7.49%

WisdomTree's Quantum Computing Fund was up 7.49% from its October 9, 2025 listing through September 30, 2026, after rising 26.75% by June 30 and then falling 15.20%.

The WisdomTree Quantum Computing Fund, WQTM, which holds companies tied to quantum computing, turns one year old on Friday, October 9, 2026, with a **7.49%** gain in net asset value from its October 9, 2025 launch through September 30.

Net asset value is the per-share value of what the fund owns.

By June 30, net asset value was up 26.75% from the launch. In the three months after that, through September 30, it fell 15.20%.

WisdomTree's market-price return from the launch through September 30 was 7.59%.

The shares have fallen since, from $32.06 on September 30 to $31.09 on Thursday, October 8.

## A cut between quarters

The fund tracks the WisdomTree Classiq Quantum Computing Index, built with the quantum-software company Classiq. The list refreshes every quarter.

On September 8 it changed between those refreshes. The index cut Quantum Computing Inc. by 3 percentage points, to 1.99%.

Christopher Gannatti, writing for WisdomTree, said the cut was to isolate the risk of a lawsuit against that one company, not to judge its technology. The holding got smaller, so the case would count for less in the fund.

He wrote that the company faces a federal lawsuit in New Jersey, brought for a group of shareholders, over claims that it misstated disclosures made between 2020 and early 2025. A judge had not ruled when the index changed.

A lawsuit, not a judgment on the technology, was enough to shrink that holding between quarters.
