Key takeaways

  • The FINQ CORE U.S. Large Cap AI-Managed Equity ETF charges 0.53%, cheaper than its sibling.
  • FINQ CORE is wider, at about equal weights; its earlier sibling uses model weights.
  • The model ranks once a day near 11 a.m. Eastern, with no same-day update.
  • The governing prospectus says approximately equal weights, while FINQ's page says the model sets them.
  • The model ranks the S&P 500 list; this fund is not built to match it.

Shares of the FINQ CORE U.S. Large Cap AI-Managed Equity ETF, AIBE, began trading on NYSE Arca on Nov. 2. It is a wider, cheaper version of the FINQ FIRST U.S. Large Cap AI-Managed Equity ETF, AIUP.

Tidal Investments advises both funds. FINQ AI, an SEC-registered adviser owned by an Israeli company, built the model and is the sub-adviser to both. FINQ dates the new fund's inception to Oct. 30.

Both invest from a ranking of S&P 500 companies. AIUP's Feb. 4, 2026, summary prospectus keeps 14 to 20 stocks and lets the model set the weights. The new fund's Oct. 29, 2026, summary prospectus keeps 25 to 35 and assigns approximately equal weights at each rebalance.

AIBE's 30 weights cluster; AIUP's top three do not

Position weights in each fund's holdings file

  • AIBE
  • AIUPMU · 14.8%

AIBE runs 2.4–3.8%; AIUP's largest three sit at 14–15%.

FINQ's page for the new fund says the model determines each position's weight. The prospectus, which governs the fund, says the weights at each rebalance are approximately equal.

That prospectus sets total annual operating expenses at 0.53%, and that figure is the management fee. Other expenses are estimated at zero, and the table shows no waiver. AIUP charges 0.70% in its February prospectus, 0.17 percentage points more.

AIUP had $5.5 million in total assets as of Oct. 9, FINQ reported. FINQ dates the fund's inception to Feb. 5, 2026.

The S&P 500 is the list the model ranks, not a portfolio AIBE is built to match.

The fund's prospectus says the model does not predict future performance, and that it "generates one set of rankings and portfolio recommendations per trading day at approximately 11 a.m. Eastern Time." Those rankings are not updated again during the trading day.

FINQ AI reviews the rankings for compliance and sends them to Tidal's trading desk. The sub-adviser will not override a selection except to keep the fund in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Owning the list itself costs less. The Vanguard S&P 500 ETF, VOO, charges 0.03% in its April 28, 2026, prospectus. AIBE costs half a percentage point more, $50 a year on $10,000 before trading costs if the balance does not change. That is the price of a ranked slice, not a fee for matching the S&P 500.
