Franklin ETFs that turn stock dividends into bitcoin go effective Oct. 27 and have not started trading
The Oct. 27 prospectuses list expenses of 0.09% and 0.19%, a Form 8-A registers the shares for Nasdaq, and no fund filed to close.

Key takeaways
Franklin Templeton ETF Trust on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026, filed a post-effective amendment that becomes effective Tuesday, Oct. 27.
The two new series are the Franklin US Equity Bitcoin DRIP Index ETF, FBEQ, and the Franklin US Innovation Bitcoin DRIP Index ETF, FIBT.
The prospectuses are dated Oct. 27. The series were first filed on June 18, in a prospectus marked subject to completion. The equity fund's prospectus says the fund has not commenced investment operations as of that date.
The trust also filed a Form 8-A on Thursday to register both funds' shares for listing on the Nasdaq Stock Market. The amendment makes the prospectuses effective. It does not open trading.
What the prospectuses charge
Each prospectus names an index and a total annual operating expense.
Other expenses are shown as 0.00% on both. The footnote says those figures are based on estimated amounts for the current fiscal year. Neither prospectus lists a 12b-1 fee, so each total is the management fee.
How the bitcoin weight is kept in check
Each fund seeks results that correspond, before fees and expenses, to its index. VettaFi LLC maintains and calculates the indexes.
Regular and special dividends are reinvested into bitcoin at the market open on the day after the ex-dividend date. The prospectuses say that increases the bitcoin weight over time.
The equity fund's index started at a 5% allocation to bitcoin and 95% in its stocks. Both prospectuses then apply the same limits.
At each quarterly rebalance, a bitcoin weight above 5% is cut to 4.5%. A weight of 5% or less is left as it is.
If bitcoin closes above 20% of the index between those rebalances, the index cuts the weight to 4.5% on the close of the second business day after the cap is exceeded.
As of Sept. 30, 2026, the innovation index held 100 securities and was concentrated in information technology.
The rest of Thursday's paper
Allspring Funds Trust filed two Rule 485(b) amendments and summary prospectuses dated Nov. 1, 2026, for its municipal bond funds and the Allspring Alternative Risk Premia Fund. The municipal prospectus Allspring had posted was dated Nov. 1, 2025. Thursday's filings date the new one Nov. 1, 2026. A holder is looking at a new prospectus date, not a transaction.
Northern Lights Fund Trust III filed the summary prospectus for the HCM Select 50 ETF, FIFT. The document is dated Oct. 9. It puts that summary on the record. It does not register a new fund.
No fund filed to close.
