SCUS

Linda Klingman retired Friday, September 4, and Schwab Strategic Trust that day filed a summary prospectus for the Schwab Ultra-Short Income ETF SCUS, a 0.14% ultra-short bond fund, that simply executes what a May 8 supplement had already said: she would retire that day and every reference to her would be deleted.

The money-fund newsletter Crane Data had identified Klingman as Schwab Asset Management's head of money market strategies after more than 35 years at the firm and said Senior Portfolio Manager Lynn Paschen would succeed her in that role, a transition the summary prospectus does not discuss. It names Michael Lin, Jonathan Feske, CFA, and Jonathan Roman, each a senior portfolio manager, and Karim Menoufy, a portfolio manager, as responsible for day-to-day co-management, all since inception in 2024.
