Our read on DGRW

ETF.net Research

In short

BA dividend fund that judges the business, not just the payout: WisdomTree runs U.S. large caps through quality and growth screens before they qualify, then distributes monthly. Live since 2013.

Stated mandate

The fund seeks to track dividend-paying U.S. large-cap companies with growth characteristics.

Why people hold it

  • Quality and growth screens sit on top of the dividend requirement, so the index targets payers with growth characteristics instead of ranking companies by headline yield.wisdomtree.com
  • Distributions land monthly, spread across roughly 300 U.S. large caps.
  • A multi-billion-dollar fund that trades actively, making it one of the easier names to get in and out of in its factor group.
  • Running the same mandate since 2013, and it sits in the upper half of its U.S. factor peer group on our review.

Worth knowing

  • The 0.28% fee is exactly the median of its factor cohort. Cheaper options exist (MGV at 0.05%, SIZE at 0.15%), though they hunt different factors.
  • No dividend, no entry. Companies that reinvest every dollar instead of paying it out are screened away, whatever their growth.
  • U.S. large caps only, so it walks much of the same ground a core S&P 500 fund already covers.
