Our read on TLA

ETF.net Research

CMost Tesla income ETFs run the same covered-call playbook. TLA runs autocallables instead: structured-payoff options on Tesla, aiming for monthly income inside a plain 1940 Act fund. A 2026 launch, and the only autocall build in its peer group.

Stated mandate

The Fund seeks potential monthly income through a portfolio of single-stock autocallable options linked to Tesla's performance.

Why people hold it

  1. 01Different engine from the crowd: single-stock autocallable options on Tesla, not the covered-call formula every other TSLA income fund in its group runs.
  2. 02Structured-note style payoffs in an ordinary registered ETF wrapper, so no bank note, no minimums, just a ticker in a brokerage account.graniteshares.com
  3. 03At a 1.07% expense ratio it sits mid-pack among TSLA income funds, and roughly a third the cost of the group's priciest, TSYY at 3.11%.
  4. 04The stated goal is monthly income from those option positions, not price appreciation from holding Tesla shares.

Worth knowing

  1. 01One name carries the whole fund. Tesla's moves drive both the income and the losses, with no diversification to cushion them.
  2. 02Income is potential, not promised: autocallable payoffs depend on where Tesla trades against contract terms, so distributions can vary or stop.
  3. 03A 2026 launch that is still small and lightly traded. Limit orders are worth using here, and there is little live track record to judge.
