Four T-REX 2X ETFs will stop trading Nov. 3, and REX will close ULTI and TLDR
The four can be sold on Cboe BZX through Nov. 3 and liquidate on or about Nov. 12, while ULTI and the Laddered T-Bill ETF, TLDR, can be sold through Nov. 6 and liquidate after the close on Nov. 13.

Key takeaways
On Thursday, Oct. 22, ETF Opportunities Trust filed to liquidate four T-REX funds that seek twice a single stock's daily move. They stop trading at the close on Nov. 3.
REX ETF Trust also filed Thursday to liquidate the REX IncomeMax Option Strategy ETF, ULTI, and the Laddered T-Bill ETF, TLDR. Trading in both halts at the close on Nov. 6.
REX Shares says it co-created the T-REX line with Tuttle Capital Management. The four funds are in ETF Opportunities Trust, where Tuttle is the adviser. ULTI and TLDR are in REX ETF Trust, where REX Advisors, LLC is the adviser. The closings have different boards because they are different trusts.
Four T-REX funds leave the exchange on Nov. 3
A holder can sell on the Cboe BZX Exchange through the close of regular trading on Nov. 3. After that close the shares will not trade on the exchange, and the supplements say there can be no assurance of a market for them. From Nov. 3 until the liquidation, each fund may increase its cash and will deviate from its investment objective. A holder who stays past that close has no listing to sell on, and no longer has the 2x exposure, until the payout.
The board approved a plan of liquidation for each fund on Oct. 20. Tuttle Capital Management, the adviser, recommended the plans because of each fund's limited prospects for meaningful future asset growth, the ongoing operational costs and the adviser's desire to no longer subsidize expenses. The board concluded that liquidation is in the best interests of each fund and its shareholders.
The four supplements, each dated Oct. 22, cover these funds.
Each fund is expected to liquidate on or about Nov. 12. A holder still in on that date receives a distribution of the remaining investment value. The supplements say a sale or a liquidation is generally a taxable event. Brokerage and other costs of the liquidation fall on the fund and its shareholders.
ULTI turns to cash on Oct. 23, and TLDR does not
A holder can sell ULTI on Nasdaq and TLDR on the Cboe BZX Exchange through the close of regular trading on Nov. 6. The supplement, dated Oct. 22, says trading halts at the close of business that day. REX Shares said shareholders may sell on those exchanges through that close.
A holder who does not sell is redeemed for a proportionate share of the fund's net assets as of the close of business on Nov. 13. That is when each fund liquidates its assets, the supplement says.
ULTI stops implementing its investment strategy, including its options strategy, at the close of trading on Oct. 23. After that, and until it is liquidated, it holds cash and cash equivalents, and the shares keep trading through the Nov. 6 halt. The Oct. 23 payment is its last regular weekly distribution. REX Advisors has agreed to waive the fund's management fee from Oct. 23 through the liquidation. The fund may still make one or more taxable distributions of income or capital gains around the liquidating distribution, including income earned or gains realized after Oct. 23.
TLDR does not make that stop. In the same release, REX Shares said it will continue to be managed in accordance with its investment objective and principal investment strategies until the liquidation date, when the portfolio is converted to cash.
The supplement says the board approved the closings on the recommendation of REX Advisors, the adviser, having determined that doing so is in the best interests of the funds and their shareholders. In a taxable account, the liquidation proceeds are generally taxed if they exceed the holder's basis.
