Our read on each fund

ICVTA
In short
CWB Convertible bonds are the hybrids of corporate credit: debt that can turn into stock. CWB has packaged them since 2009, tracking a Bloomberg index tilted toward the market's tradable issues, and it pays monthly.
ICVT Convertible bonds are corporate debt with a stock option attached. ICVT owns the plain-vanilla slice (cash-pay bonds, big issues only) by index, at 0.20% a year, the lowest fee among the handful of convertible ETFs on the market.
Stated mandate
CWB The fund seeks to track the price and yield performance of the Bloomberg U.S. Convertible Liquid Bond Index before fees and expenses. It invests in qualifying U.S. convertible securities.
ICVT The fund seeks to track an index of U.S. dollar-denominated convertible bonds with issue sizes above $250 million.
