Our read on each fund
DJIAA
XVC
In short
DJIA Covered calls, but on the Dow. This fund owns the 30 blue chips and sells one-month at-the-money calls against them, swapping upside for monthly cash. It also happens to carry the index's own ticker.
XV Most income ETFs pay out whatever their options happen to earn. XV flips the order: the 15% annualized target comes first, and the barriers on its ladder of put options are set to support it. Monthly payouts, risk line drawn in advance.
Stated mandate
DJIA The Fund seeks to track, before fees and expenses, the price and yield performance of the DJIA Cboe BuyWrite v2 Index. Its strategy owns Dow Jones Industrial Average stocks and sells corresponding one-month at-the-money call options.
XV XV seeks to generate a 15% annualized distribution paid monthly by selling a laddered portfolio of barrier put options. Barrier levels are adjusted to support the target, while losses may occur after a barrier is breached.

Worth knowing
DJIA vs XV Holdings
How we measure overlap
Each holding counts at its smaller weight in the two funds, summed over the full Holdings. Sector, country and asset class use the same rule on each fund’s split. Cash, FX and derivative lines stay out of the counts. Two bond funds get no overlap figure.
