Our read on each fund
EDGHB
HBDCA
In short
EDGH Hard assets, rented rather than owned: at least 80% of net assets goes into hard-asset exposure bought through other ETFs and derivatives, with an active manager free to dial that mix up or down as conditions shift.
HBDC Private credit's lenders have to borrow too. HBDC owns the senior unsecured bonds that business development companies issue, a first-mover take on BDC debt instead of BDC stock, wrapped in a rules-based index.
Stated mandate
EDGH The Fund aims to grow capital when markets rise and reduce losses when markets fall.
HBDC The Fund seeks to track, before fees and expenses, the Solactive Hilton Capital BDC Corporate Bond TR Index.
