IVEPDDan IVES Wedbush AI Power & Infrastructure ETF

WTAIAWisdomTree Artificial Intelligence and Innovation Fund

In short

IVEP A Wall Street research call in an ETF wrapper: IVEP owns the roughly 30 names from Dan Ives' AI Power 30 list, aiming at the turbines, grid gear and data centers behind AI rather than the chips inside.

WTAI Most AI ETFs are a repackaged bet on the same few mega caps. WTAI spreads roughly 90 global names across the whole stack (software, chips, the hardware underneath) at close-to-equal weights, for 0.45% a year.

Stated mandate

IVEP The Fund seeks exposure to companies connected to AI power and infrastructure. Its Solactive index identifies eligible companies using natural-language processing and a requirement that at least 50% of revenue come from designated AI power businesses.

WTAI The fund seeks to track, before fees and expenses, the price and yield performance of the WisdomTree Artificial Intelligence & Innovation Index, whose constituents are companies primarily involved in the AI and innovation investment theme.

Why people hold it

  • IVEP The AI trade one layer down: power generation, grid equipment, data centers and enabling materials, filtered to companies drawing at least 50% of revenue from AI power businesses.mondovisione.com
  • Solactive builds the index from the Dan Ives AI Power 30 report: a published analyst call, reconstituted semi-annually as new reports land and rebalanced quarterly.globenewswire.comtradingview.com
  • Roughly 30 holdings, weighted by free-float market cap with caps to curb concentration, so it spreads across the buildout instead of riding one utility or one equipment maker.tradingview.commondovisione.com
  • Sequel to IVES, the Wedbush platform's first ETF, launched 2025. Same research desk, aimed at the physical layer rather than software and semis.globenewswire.com
  • WTAI Charges 0.45% a year, below the median fee in the AI thematic crowd. In a theme this packed, cost is the part you actually control.
  • Weights land close to equal across roughly 90 stocks, so no single mega cap runs the portfolio the way it does in cap-weighted AI funds.wisdomtree.com
  • The index reaches across AI software, semiconductors and the other hardware AI runs on, and it can hold listings outside the US, not just a Nasdaq tech slice.wisdomtree.com
  • One of the stronger builds in a crowded AI cohort: broad rules-based portfolio, low fee, no structural quirks in the wrapper.

Worth knowing

  • IVEP Costs 0.75% a year, above the 0.65% typical of AI infrastructure peers and above TCAI (0.65%) and AIPO (0.69%).
  • Launched in 2026 and still small and thinly traded, so bid-ask spreads can run wider than at the category's established funds.
  • The lineup tracks one research desk's list. When that report changes, the portfolio changes with it.mondovisione.com
  • WTAI Still one theme. Tech-heavy and prone to bigger swings than a broad-market fund. Owning 90 names dilutes single-stock risk, not AI risk.wisdomtree.com
  • Near-equal weighting cuts both ways: when one giant is carrying the theme, spread-out weights keep this fund from leaning into it.wisdomtree.com
  • The roster resets at scheduled rebalances rather than continuously, so index changes arrive in batches and bring turnover with them.wisdomtree.com
