Our read on each fund
SKRED
SVXYB
In short
SKRE Regional banks got their own wrecking ball. SKRE aims to deliver 2x the inverse of KRE's daily move in a single ticker, and it charges well under what the average leveraged bear fund asks.
SVXY Short volatility, half dose. SVXY targets one-half the inverse of a VIX short-term futures index each day, a deliberately de-tuned take on the short-vol trade, and it has run that mandate since 2011.
Stated mandate
SKRE The Fund seeks to deliver daily inverse leveraged performance relative to the KRE ETF.
SVXY SVXY seeks daily results equal to one-half the inverse of the S&P 500 VIX Short-Term Futures Index. Its objective is measured daily, so returns over longer periods can differ from the stated daily target.

SKRE vs SVXY Holdings
How we measure overlap
Each holding counts at its smaller weight in the two funds, summed over the full Holdings. Sector, country and asset class use the same rule on each fund’s split. Cash, FX and derivative lines stay out of the counts. Two bond funds get no overlap figure.
