Meta adds $192 billion after Muse tops the charts

Meta Platforms rose 11.3% to $741.25, adding about $192 billion of market value, after its Muse personal AI agent topped app-store charts, CNBC reported. The S&P 500 finished 1.5% higher at 7,764; the Nasdaq Composite rose 2.3%.
Meta, chips, and Moderna set the stock ranking
State Street’s communications-services fund XLC rose 3.6%. Meta is a 20% holding and contributed 2.3 percentage points. YieldMax’s Meta option-income fund FBY rose 9.2%. Meta is up 36% over the past month.
Advanced Micro Devices rose 9.9% to $615.52, taking its market value to $1.00 trillion. Intel rose 12.1% to $121.78 on 188 million shares, still 14% below its 52-week high. The iShares semiconductor fund SOXX gained 4.9%, with Intel and AMD together about a sixth of the fund.
Moderna rose 12.3% to $172.94 after it said Phase 3 data on intismeran autogene, its personalized cancer vaccine, were selected for a Presidential Symposium at the European Society for Medical Oncology Congress. The stock is 2.2% below its 52-week high and up 486% this year; it is still 59% below where it stood five years ago. YieldMax’s Moderna option-income fund MRNY rose 9.6%.
Warner Bros. Discovery jumped 10.8% to $30.80, a 52-week high of $30.92, on 233 million shares after Paramount Skydance settled the 12-state suit over the takeover, as the desk reported earlier. Paramount Skydance closed 2.9% lower at $9.91 after trading as high as $11.49.
Strategy, the bitcoin treasury company, rose 9.5% to $168.50. YieldMax’s Strategy option-income fund MSTY followed; its short twin WNTR fell 7.2%.
Hedera fund leads a second crypto session
Canary’s spot Hedera fund HBR gained 15.1% to $12.44, the largest move on the unleveraged board. The fund holds HBAR, the token that runs the Hedera network, and is $56.8 million in assets. Volume was 316,000 shares against a 59,000 average. It is still 57% below its 52-week high and 15% lower this year.
The iShares Bitcoin Trust IBIT rose 6.5% to $49.01, a second session after Solana funds gained 13% as bitcoin reclaimed $80,000. From Thursday’s close the bitcoin fund is up 13%. Bitcoin itself was at $86,964, up 7.1%, as of 4:41 p.m. ET. XRP rose 8.3% to $1.53.
Option-income overlays on Moderna, Meta, AMD, and Strategy captured most of the stock jumps and left some on the table, which is how the product is built. Short-bitcoin and short-Strategy funds sat at the other end of the same trade; tanker freight and WTI crude funds led the commodity declines.
Oil funds and Novo Nordisk take the losses
United States Oil Fund USO fell 3.7% to $148.16.

State Street’s energy fund XLE lost 2.9%, and exploration-and-production fund IEO dropped about 3.1%. WTI crude futures were at $92.07, down 4.2%, as of 4:41 p.m. ET; Brent was at $100.16, down 3.6%. FXEmpire tied the decline to traders betting on talks between the U.S. and Iran.
USO is still up 10% over the past month and 114% this year.
Amplify’s tanker-freight fund BWET fell 4.4% to $834, three sessions after it gained 8.4% as crude fell.
Novo Nordisk dropped 7.9% to $39.82 on 48 million shares after its Capital Markets Day in London. The company said it aims to grow 2026-30 revenue in line with industry peers and to launch more than five multi-blockbuster products by 2030. The stock is down 21% this year and 38% below its 52-week high.
Monday paid Muse, a trillion-dollar chip stock, and a cancer-vaccine slot. It charged the oil complex that still owns the year.
