PRIVD
In short
AGG Launched in 2003, one of the first funds to pack the entire U.S. investment-grade bond market into a single ticker: Treasuries, corporates and mortgage bonds, three basis points a year, cash paid monthly.
PRIV Private credit usually comes with lockups. PRIV puts investment-grade public and private credit inside an ETF you can trade any market day, run actively against the Agg since its 2025 launch.
Stated mandate
AGG The fund seeks to track the Bloomberg U.S. Aggregate Bond Index, providing broad exposure to the total U.S. investment-grade bond market.
PRIV PRIV is actively managed and invests primarily in investment-grade public and private credit. It seeks risk-adjusted returns and current income through macroeconomic allocation and bottom-up security selection.

Worth knowing
AGG vs PRIV Holdings
How we measure overlap
Each holding counts at its smaller weight in the two funds, summed over the full Holdings. Sector, country and asset class use the same rule on each fund’s split. Cash, FX and derivative lines stay out of the counts. Two bond funds get no overlap figure.
