Our read on each fund
ARMHC
SOXXA
In short
ARMH A single-stock ETF with an unusual job: hold the Arm Holdings ADR and use a currency contract to strip out the exchange-rate layer baked into ordinary ADR investing, aiming to deliver the stock's local-market return, less expenses.
SOXX The original chip ETF, running since 2001 and still one of the most heavily traded ways to own the semiconductor complex: roughly 30 US-listed names, from chip designers to the equipment makers who supply them.
Stated mandate
ARMH The Fund seeks to provide, before fees and expenses, returns corresponding generally to Arm Holdings PLC’s ordinary shares in its local market and local currency. Its ADR exposure is paired with currency swaps intended to hedge exchange-rate fluctuations.
SOXX The Fund is designed to follow an index of U.S.-listed companies operating in the semiconductor sector.

How we measure overlap
Each holding counts at its smaller weight in the two funds, summed over the full Holdings. Sector, country and asset class use the same rule on each fund’s split. Cash, FX and derivative lines stay out of the counts. Two bond funds get no overlap figure.
