In short
GTR Not an income fund wearing a global badge. GTR buys calls 15% in-the-money and sells calls 15% out-of-the-money on a basket of US, developed and emerging market equity ETFs, boxing global stock exposure into a defined range.
HYGW Covered calls, but on junk bonds instead of stocks. It holds iShares' high yield corporate bond ETF and writes monthly calls against it, stacking option premium on top of coupon income, paid out monthly.
Stated mandate
GTR The actively managed Fund seeks capital appreciation and secondarily hedges risk. It generally seeks exposure similar to the TOPS Global Equity Target Range Index, a systematic cash-secured call-spread strategy, although returns may differ as assets enter and leave the Fund.
HYGW The fund seeks exposure to the iShares iBoxx $ High Yield Corporate Bond ETF while writing monthly covered calls to generate income.

Worth knowing
GTR vs HYGW Holdings
How we measure overlap
Each holding counts at its smaller weight in the two funds, summed over the full Holdings. Sector, country and asset class use the same rule on each fund’s split. Cash, FX and derivative lines stay out of the counts. Two bond funds get no overlap figure.
