In short
QID One of ProShares' original geared funds, live since 2006: QID aims for two times the inverse of the Nasdaq-100's daily move, resetting every night. Fee is 0.95% net of a waiver through September 30, 2027.
SVXY Short volatility, half dose. SVXY targets one-half the inverse of a VIX short-term futures index each day, a deliberately de-tuned take on the short-vol trade, and it has run that mandate since 2011.
Stated mandate
QID The fund seeks daily investment results, before fees and expenses, corresponding to two times the inverse performance of the Nasdaq-100 Index.
SVXY SVXY seeks daily results equal to one-half the inverse of the S&P 500 VIX Short-Term Futures Index. Its objective is measured daily, so returns over longer periods can differ from the stated daily target.

QID vs SVXY Holdings
How we measure overlap
Each holding counts at its smaller weight in the two funds, summed over the full Holdings. Sector, country and asset class use the same rule on each fund’s split. Cash, FX and derivative lines stay out of the counts. Two bond funds get no overlap figure.
